Up to 2023, I served as Global Head of Business Development at Millennium Global, a leading currency management specialist based in London. In this role, I worked with major institutions worldwide, assisting them in implementing comprehensive FX risk management programs.

Before I joined Millennium Global in 2017, I worked for over twenty years at the Edmond de Rothschild Group, where my last role was CEO of EdR Asset Management (UK). Prior to moving to London in 2012, I held a variety of positions for the EdR Group in Geneva, and worked across fund management, derivatives advisory, and business development. I also served as a board member for a Luxembourg-based umbrella fund, with a specific focus on risk management and compliance oversight.

Earlier, I worked as a futures execution trader and portfolio manager at a Swiss futures and options firm, dividing my time between its Geneva and Chicago offices.

He has held CEO and Head of Business Development roles at Edmond de Rothschild Group and GAM, leading multi-location teams and driving institutional client growth across a broad range of products, including long-only, alternatives, hedge funds, private equity, ILS, infrastructure, and overlays. Christian has been a board member of a Swiss pension fund, as well as several real estate investment companies and Luxembourg funds.

Skilled in derivatives-based risk mitigation and portfolio optimization, Christian has advised corporates, asset managers, public entities, and foundations on complex FX and interest rate risk management and investment solutions.

Christian holds an M.A. from HEC St. Gallen and began his career in treasury and risk consulting with roles at an international trading company and Accenture.
